Queenstown is world renowned for it’s spectacular location, nestled by the shores of a deep lake, it's glacial valley surrounded by towering mountains. If you have only a half day it makes sense to capture views of the town and the valleys of the Wakatipu basin from some of it’s best vantage points - the mountain lookouts.
THIS ITINERARY IS - EXAMPLE - DESIGNED TO INSPIRE YOU.
Our route will be determined on the day by group preferences, weather and light conditions.
We’ll tour some of the best locations to see the hills and valleys, silver rivers and verdant plains. Our tour can start early to catch sunrise across the valley or finish with the setting sun casting an orange glow across The Remarkables, weather and clouds permitting of course. As well as some of our secret special spots, locations can include Skipper’s Saddle, the base at Coronet Peak, Crown Range road (the highest road pass in NZ), The Remarkables - views south down Lake Wakatipu, Windy Point looking across to Queenstown and higher up with views across Lake Hayes toward Arrowtown.
With so many options in this direction, tell us what interests you most. We'll discuss it with the group and take light and weather conditions into account to design a great day's photography.
